Singapore Cruise for Families, Birthdays and Anniversaries

Bring your favourite people together for a few days at sea. A Royal Caribbean Singapore cruise combines accommodation, included dining and onboard entertainment, with options to shape a family holiday, milestone birthday or anniversary around your group.
The Other Way helps you choose the sailing, cabins and celebration arrangements, and coordinates the Singapore stay around them.

One Singapore Cruise, Different Ways to Enjoy It

With Royal Caribbean’s short sailings, your cabin becomes an unhurried sanctuary.

Children might head for the activities while adults enjoy pool time, a quieter corner or a leisurely meal. Everyone can come together again for dinner and the evening’s entertainment.

We help match the accommodation and sailing to your group – from balcony cabins for couples to connecting rooms for families. For celebrations, we explore dining and approved private-event arrangements with the cruise line.

Flying from India? Plan Your Singapore Stay Around the Cruise

Singapore’s direct connections with several Indian cities make it a practical departure point for a short cruise holiday.
We recommend arriving at least a day before embarkation. If you have more time, add two or three nights for a well-chosen hotel, good dining and experiences suited to your family or occasion.
A three-night cruise usually spans four calendar days. Allow additional time for flights and your Singapore stay.

Heritage Suites & Speciality Dining Before You Embark

Give your celebrations a memorable voyage begins well before you reach the marina. Give yourself two or three days to settle into the city.

A Singapore holiday is always a great idea, right?

Check into a heritage suite, spend an unhurried morning strolling beneath the rain trees of the National Orchid Garden, and reserve an evening for intimate, Michelin-starred dining overlooking the illuminated bay.

By the time you board, you are already completely unwound and immersed in vacation mode.

Make sure you count the complete holiday: a 3-days and 4-night cruise stay needs additional time for flights and your pre-cruise stay.

Should You Choose a 3-, 4- or 5-Night Singapore Cruise?

The right duration depends on how much time you have and what you want from the holiday.

Cruise Length & Experience to Consider

2 Nights – A brief ship-focused escape on selected departures

3 Nights – A compact getaway, with Penang featured on selected itineraries

4 Nights– A balance of onboard time and ports such as Penang and Phuket

5 Nights – More time to settle in, with selected additional ports or Phuket overnight itineraries

Navigator of the Seas’ advertised 2026–27 programme offers several short-break options. Routes vary by departure, so we, at The Other Way check the actual itinerary rather than choosing by duration alone.

For first-time families and celebration groups, we would begin by comparing 3-days and 4-night sailings.

Consider longer voyages when the cruise is the centerpiece of a bigger holiday.

What Can You Do on Navigator of the Seas & what makes it worth being a part of your holiday?

Navigator brings plenty of choice into one place: pools, the FlowRider surf simulator, The Blaster and Riptide waterslides, ice skating, theatre entertainment and spaces for children and teenagers.

Each member of your group can head for their choice of activity. You can then meet again for dinner and the evening’s entertainment.

Planning a Singapore Cruise with Children and Grandparents

For families, the appeal is variety without repeatedly changing hotels. Connecting cabins can help families stay close, subject to availability., while balcony rooms offer a tranquil space to pause . Also enjoy time outside between ports.

Celebrating a Birthday or Anniversary on Your Cruise

A special dinner can become the centerpiece, with a show, drinks or dancing extending the evening. Navigator’s specialty restaurants include Chops Grille, Hooked Seafood, Izumi and Jamie’s Italian; dining charges and reservations need planning.

A balcony cabin or suite can add another layer to the occasion. At the Other Way, we look carefully at space, layout and category-specific benefits rather than assuming every suite offers the same experience.

Navigator is a lively large ship. Travelers seeking an intimate, quiet onboard atmosphere may be better suited to a different cruise style.

Can You Arrange a Private Celebration Onboard?

Yes, group celebrations can be explored with the cruise line, including private functions and tailored arrangements.

For eligible group programmes, suitable function space and standard audiovisual equipment may be available without a separate venue-hire charge. The venue, timing, capacity and terms must be confirmed for your sailing and included in the group agreement.

This can be a compelling foundation: your guests’ accommodation, included meals and everyday entertainment are already organised around the same journey.

The occasion itself can then be shaped through agreed dining, beverage, décor and entertainment arrangements. Custom catering, technical staffing, enhanced production and other additions may cost extra.

However, outside choreographers, performers or equipment require prior approval.

Can You Plan a Cruise Wedding from Singapore?

A cruise wedding or wedding celebration needs a separate brief. Ceremony arrangements, reception space, cultural requirements, suppliers and any legal formalities must be checked with the cruise line.

We begin with what you want to celebrate and establish what can be delivered on the chosen ship and departure.

What Is Included in Your Singapore Cruise?

The standard cruise fare provides a useful foundation, but it is not a blanket all-inclusive event package.

Inclusions vary by booking and selected packages. We clarify these before confirmation for an easier understanding of the complete journey cost.

Time ashore can also become part of the occasion: a privately planned outing, local food experience or relaxed exploration, subject to port conditions and the ship’s schedule.

Singapore Cruise: Questions Before You Book

Indian passport holders generally require a Singapore entry visa. We check the itinerary’s documentation and re-entry requirements, along with those of the ports visited.

Group dining requests should be discussed early. Seating arrangements, restaurant capacity and private dining options require confirmation.

Yes. A birthday can be noted on the reservation, with cakes and other paid enhancements explored separately. Noting an occasion does not automatically include a celebration package.

The total depends on your departure date, cabin categories, number and ages of travellers, and selected extras. Ask for a quotation that separates the cruise fare, applicable fees, gratuities, flights, Singapore stay and any celebration arrangements.

Yes. We can help select the cruise and accommodation, then coordinate your Singapore hotel, transfers and requested experiences around the sailing. Tell us whether you want cruise-booking support or a fully curated journey.
